This beautiful Majolica asparagus tureen features classic bright coloring, a glossy crackle glaze and a realistic trompe l’oeil asparagus shape. Made in Italy and imported for the B. Altman & Company to the US 1980s. The entire piece, inside and out has heavy crazing and the bottom bears a factory mold number of 18075. In very good condition and a spectacular addition to your collection!

• High gloss glaze with a crackle finish
• Imprinted factory mark on the base

• Measures 9.25 x 5” & 5” tall (including the lid)

• In very good vintage condition
• Minor paint loss and flea bites
• One small chip inside the rim of the dish
