The strainer keeps bits of bacon from going into the stored bacon fat and it stores easily on your counter or in the fridge or freezer. Simply pour hot grease over the strainer. Pop out bacon fat after its cooled and freeze for later, keep it on the stove to use right away or dispose of if you must! The silicone material is safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and it resists both stains and odors.
