This delicate 19th century demitasse mug and saucer is a delight to behold! Manufactured in the late 1800s by Wileman Foley in Fenton, Staffordshire, England it features a square demitasse cup & saucer with scalloped edges, a unique square shape, an intricate blue transfer, and gold gilt paint along the edges. Both pieces are marked. Its condition shows signs of age and use, but it displays beautifully and is sure to be a favorite new addition to your transferware collection! 

Details:
    •    Cup measures 3.25” in diameter and 2” tall
    •    Saucer is 4.25” square
    •    Delicate geometric & floral transfer in blue
    •    Edges & handle rimmed in gold gilt paint
    •    Printed mark on both pieces
    •    Dates from the late 1800s

Condition:
    •    In good condition w no chips
    •    One tight hairline on the cup (mostly seen from the interior)
    •    Light tea staining in the cup interior
    •    Transfer is faded on one side of the cup
    •    Minor gold paint loss
