This cute "appliance" mystified the recipients. When I explained its purpose, they loved it so much that they sent me a video of their success in using it.
I was excited to get the wood herb stripper because I cook a lot and thyme is my nemesis. Sadly the smallest hole on this item is too large to grab the thyme stem. The whole thing just glides through the hole. It will likely work other herbs that have more heft, but the main reason I ordered this was for thyme. I actually ordered two to give one to a friend but knowing it can’t strip thyme means I probably won’t gift the item. Kind of disappointing, I was very excited to finally have a tool for this task but I’m back to doing it by hand.
I love this decorative herb stripper! The cup is perfect for catching herbs and makes a nice countertop display. I’m pleased with the quality and craftsmanship.
A gift for my daughter who has started growing her own herbs. She loves it.
