Description

What we love:
We're thrilled to feature the hand-cast concrete work of Pete Kumpon of Funktional Form!

Details:
This Hexagon Tray is 6.5" diameter at the widest point, 5/8" tall and .25" deep.
Perfect for holding jewelry, loose change, or treasured triinkets!
Each tray is sanded and finished with an acrylic sealer.
Urethane bumpers are applied to the bottom to prevent surface scratching.
Because these pieces are hand-poured, no two pieces are exactly alike.
Slight color variations and small air bubbles are to be expected and only add to the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.
PLEASE NOTE: Jewelry in our photos in not included in the sale of the hexagon tray.

About the artist:
Pete Kumpon is a mechanical engineer by trade and a talented self-taught concrete artist. His process begins with the development of a 3D model in CAD. The model is then 3D printed, plastered, sanded and sealed. He makes a silicone rubber mold from the 3D printed object which is then used to cast his concrete pieces. A variety of concrete mixes are used to achieve different looks and finishes and a sealer is applied to protect the finish.
