What we love:
We love repurposing and despite its intended use, this antique white ironstone slop jar makes a fabulous vase for a large bouquet of flowers (and no one has to ever know about its previous life!)
In very good condition with no chips.
It does have a tight hairline near the rim that appears to be stable.
There are a few tiny finish irregularities from age and the manufacturing process.
Measures 10.5" tall and 9.75" across at the top rim.
The overall height is approximately 13" with the lid on.
We date this slop jar from the late 1800s.
It bears a manufacturer's mark on the bottom.
A great addition to your collection and so hard to find with the lid!
