When we moved into our sweet little farmhouse several years ago the previous owners left us two gifts. A file folder stuffed with the manuals for all the household appliances and a handwritten note tacked to the frig.
Luckily the manuals weren't need right away. But sure enough a few days later as we sat eating breakfast, we looked out and there was Daisy, munching happily in our front yard and welcoming us to the neighborhood!
